Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for restoring commercial properties damaged by fires, floods, natural disasters, and other emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to emergency service calls and assess the situation for immediate action.
  • Read and understand the work assignment requirements to satisfy the client.
  • Transport and set up drying equipment necessary for emergency service tasks.
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
  • Communicate with clients, provide updates, and explanations throughout the emergency service process.
  • Comply with safety protocols and company policies.
  • Perform mitigation services for water damage, fire damage, and other disasters in accordance with IICRC standards.
  • Document work completed, including before and after photos, and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain daily log sheets of temperature and humidity readings relating to the work performed.
  • Ability to manage a small crew of workers.

Requirements

  • Experience in water mitigation, fire damage, and mold remediation.
  • Certifications as WRT, FRT, ORT, and/or AMRT and an ICRA cert. a plus.
  • Experience with drywall demo, repair, and painting.
  • Experience in general carpentry repairs.
  • Read and understand project sketching.
  • Take measurements and calculate the size and quantities of materials needed.
  • Read and understand moisture mapping.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
