Crisis Intervention Specialist

As a Crisis Intervention Specialist at UnityPoint Health, you will be responsible for providing supportive environments for individuals experiencing mental health crises. Your duties will include:
- Collaborating with individuals in crisis to develop and implement crisis stabilization plans.
- Creating a supportive environment through the admission process, assessing status and immediate needs in collaboration with the mental health team.
- Performing skill development interventions with individuals and documenting observable behaviors and symptoms.
- Ensuring complete service to all customers by performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, nursing, psychology, or other human services-related fields is preferred.
- Two years of relatable work experience in mental health and other human service-related positions.
- Iowa Driver's License required.
