Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of bank, credit card, loan, and liability accounts
  • Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Classification and matching of transactions within QuickBooks Online bank feeds
  • Recording customer payments and posting them in QuickBooks Online
  • Inputting vendor invoices and processing payments in QuickBooks Online
  • Regularly posting transactions to the appropriate general ledger codes and periods
  • Recording payroll journal entries
  • Producing and analyzing financial statements for accuracy
  • Posting accrual journal entries for insurance, prepaid expenses, etc.
  • Generating 1099 and 1096 forms
  • Assisting with various ad hoc projects and tasks
  • Working independently

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of comprehensive business accounting experience
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite
