POSITION SUMMARY:
Join our team as a Part-time Logistics Support Specialist, where you will engage in the vital aspects of supply chain management.
Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing inventory levels while facilitating business-to-business transactions through effective procurement, sourcing, and pricing strategies that align with our customers' requirements and enhance their operational success.
This role may offer flexible scheduling following a successful onboarding and training period.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
o Overseeing inventory management at the branch
o Executing procurement tasks, including managing purchase orders and backorders
o Estimating and quoting product prices while sourcing materials
o Coordinating resources to address customer supply chain demands
o Assisting with accounts receivable functions
o Delivering products using a company vehicle when necessary
o Performing additional tasks as required to ensure branch effectiveness
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The following qualifications are necessary for this position:
o Must be at least 18 years of age
o Hold a valid driver's license issued in the relevant country, with a clean driving record for company vehicle use
o Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or possess relevant customer service experience
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Proficient in computer applications
o Highly motivated, self-starter with a focus on customer service
o Strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency
o Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities
o Capable of problem-solving and making informed decisions
o Uphold our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
o Ability to lift and carry packages weighing between 25lbs-50lbs, with occasional weights up to 75lbs
o Successfully pass a drug screening and background check as required
