Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Hospice Registered Nurses for 8, 13, and 16 week contract positions with Interim HealthCare in Charleston, SC.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with terminal illnesses and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, evaluate patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, symptom control, and end-of-life care.
  • Document patient progress, identify areas for improvement, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in SC or Compact License.
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years of hospice experience.
  • CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
  • Clinical proficiency in nursing specialty, strong communication skills, and compassion.
