Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Site Supervisor to join our team at Securitas Inc. As a Security Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations at our client sites, ensuring the safety and security of people and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security officers and other personnel assigned to client sites
  • Ensure compliance with post orders, established rounds, and required reports
  • Coaching and disciplining personnel as necessary, seeking advice from management as needed
  • Train security officers and other personnel on post orders and assignment details
  • Assist in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company
  • Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions, in conjunction with company management
  • Prepare, file, and submit various reports as required
  • Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities
  • Meet with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred
  • Knowledge of security operations, supervisory practices, and procedures
  • Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance
  • Understanding of security and safety devices and controls
  • Ability to learn quickly and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
  • Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments
  • Ability to be an effective team member
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
  • Courteous telephone manner
  • Ability to adapt to various sites and changes in post procedures
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong customer service and results orientation
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, at various social levels and across diverse cultures
