Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular security patrols to monitor and safeguard the premises.
  • Oversee alarm systems and respond promptly to emergencies.

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to pursue DCJS (armed) certification in the future is advantageous.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess a reliable work history characterized by dependability and punctuality. A valid Virginia driver's license is required. Physical capabilities include the ability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds, navigate stairs, bend, squat, and work in confined spaces. A foundational understanding of security protocols and/or law enforcement is preferred. A criminal background check will be conducted.

Work Schedule: Flexible shifts are available, with minor adjustments expected during significant events or holidays as directed by management. Full-time positions come with competitive compensation and benefits, with opportunities for pay increases upon achieving certifications. This position is essential, requiring presence during emergencies and adverse weather conditions.
