Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Texas Tech Univ Health Sciences Ctr. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic patient flow, serving as a primary contact for patients, and maintaining records.

  • Answer patient calls and verifications
  • Collect and process patient payments
Requirements
  • A High School diploma or GED
  • 1-year Customer Service, office, or related experience
  • Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical clinic office experience scheduling appointments, receiving patients, verifying insurance, and processing charges
  • EMR experience preferably Cerner
  • Experience with common office computer programs such as Word, Xcel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Bilingual a plus
Compensation

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website.
