Lead Control Systems Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Control Systems Engineer to join our team at G.A.S. Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with and carrying out all site policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in a team environment to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with and carry out all site policies and procedures, including health, safety, security, and environmental compliance.
  • Respond to occasional unscheduled callouts and complete required training.
  • Participate in causal investigations and contribute to Site Personal Safety and Process Safety initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance staff to achieve project success.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 12-15 years of experience with hands-on, field experience in control valves design and specifications, control narratives, cause and effect charts, wiring and loop diagrams.
  • Proficiency in PHA-HAZOP and ability to work with others and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of project work processes, including Management of Change.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Certifications

  • BS Engineering or Computer Science degree required; Electrical or Chemical preferred.
