Strategic Support Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Strategic Support Specialist will provide administrative assistance to the Executive Director of Exceptional Student Support Services, ensuring the efficient management of the department. This role will manage the schedule and correspondence of the Executive Director, ensuring preparedness for meetings and timely responses to emails.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, project management, or a related field, and at least five years of experience in administrative support, including budget and project management, operations, and logistics within special education services.
The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite, with a working knowledge of MUNIS and EdPlan. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the schedule and correspondence of the Executive Director
- Provide administrative assistance to the Executive Director
- Perform general office management duties
- Coordinate with division's administrative staff to ensure superior service is provided to school leaders, teachers, and students
- Work with directors and executive directors to support department action plans, priorities, and adherence to key deadlines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, project management, or a related field
- At least five years of experience in administrative support, including budget and project management, operations, and logistics within special education services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
- Working knowledge of MUNIS and EdPlan
