Job Summary

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will play a vital role in administering therapeutic and diagnostic procedures to patients with respiratory disorders. This position requires a high level of expertise and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medical gases, humidifiers, and aerosols for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes.
  • Conduct advanced patient education and serve as a resource to RCP I.
  • Evaluate treatment programs and take appropriate action.
  • Develop respiratory care plans and make recommendations for patient management.
  • Communicate effectively with professional colleagues and manage time effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred.
  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License or Temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • One (1) of the following certifications preferred: ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPFT, RPFT, RPSGT, Asthma Certified Educator, NRP Instructor, ACLS Instructor, PALS Instructor, or BLS Instructor.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six (6) months of critical care experience.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged standing and frequent walking, stooping, and squatting.
