Forensic Clinician

We are seeking a highly motivated Forensic Clinician to join our team at Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center. The successful candidate will provide intensive mental health support in a structured residential environment to prepare clients for independent community living.
Key Responsibilities- Provide forensically focused individual and group therapy
- Conduct home visits and crisis intervention
- Manage case files and submit reports to the courts
- Document services provided and maintain accurate records
- Participate in meetings and supervision activities
- Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field
- Knowledge of medications and current diagnostic manual
- Clinical experience in provision of individual or group treatment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
- Ability to work with clients who present a variety of psychopathologies
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle encounters with clients who may be unstable, angry, hostile, agitated, or intoxicated. The position requires the ability to work effectively with visitors, police, and community members.
