Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Waterway Carwash. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our car wash systems and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, and repair car wash equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Load, unload, and place car wash chemicals, supplies, and equipment as needed.
  • Monitor and control costs related to utilities, chemical use, parts use, and building and grounds maintenance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other maintenance employees and store management teams.
  • Assist store management in workplace safety, chemical application, parts and supply inventory, equipment preventative maintenance, and building and grounds maintenance.
  • Maintain building and grounds for facilities, including landscaping maintenance.
Requirements
  • Degree in a technical field or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance-related field.
  • Proven electrical experience with both low and high voltage systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Computer-proficient.
  • Ability to work a flexible 5-day a week schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions

Work will be performed outdoors year-round, and the employee will be exposed to wide temperature variations, sunshine, wet weather, humidity, wet surfaces, noise, gasoline and exhaust fumes, machinery and moving parts, high-pressure hydraulic lines, chemical solutions, and dirt. The employee will also be exposed to power supplies up to 480-volt, three-phase.

Language and Communication

The employee must be able to fluently speak and understand English when communicating with other team members, managers, and customers for business-related purposes.
