We are seeking a diligent and responsible lifeguard to ensure the safety of our patrons at Inverness Golf Club.

The ideal candidate will be able to identify potential risks, think critically, and respond effectively in emergency situations. Safety is our top priority, but we also value excellent customer service. The successful lifeguard will be able to work with people of diverse ages and backgrounds, treating all patrons with respect and a positive attitude.

The primary responsibility of a lifeguard is to maintain a safe environment for everyone, so strong swimming skills are essential. A successful applicant will be considered for swimming lessons as well, and good communication skills are highly valued.

The position of a lifeguard requires a qualified and responsible individual who can meet all our requirements.
Responsibilities of a Lifeguard:
  • Monitoring pool activities and identifying potential hazards.
  • Staying informed about weather conditions to ensure everyone's safety.
  • Directing swimmers outside the water in hazardous conditions.
  • Providing assistance to patrons.
  • Providing emergency care until medical services arrive.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment through regular maintenance duties.
  • Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Keeping accurate activity reports.
Lifeguard Job Requirements:
  • 16 years of age or older
  • Valid ARC certification
  • First aid and CPR certification
  • Physical fitness, agility, and strength
  • Effective communication skills
  • Previous experience in a related field is preferred
