Director of Hotel Operations

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Hotel Operations to join our team at Island Hospitality Management. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the overall success and efficiency of our hotel operations.

About the Role:

  • As Director of Hotel Operations, you will oversee the entire hotel operation, ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • You will develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • You will lead a team of Housekeeping and Front Desk staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • You will collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • You will analyze daily bookings to coordinate with the front desk team and guests.

Responsibilities:

  1. Schedule and train hotel staff in financial control procedures.
  2. Recommend local attractions and restaurants for guests, inform them of hotel services and amenities, and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
  3. Work closely with other departments to ensure successful operations.
  4. Monitor daily bookings to coordinate with the front desk team and guests.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry.
  • Able to operate hotel POS and PMS Systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
  • Ability to work well in stressful situations.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
