Job Title: Silicon Design Engineer

At Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Silicon Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and design electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing.
  • Perform definition, design, verification, and/or documentation for ASIC development.
  • Determine architecture design, logic design, and/or system simulation.
  • Define module interfaces/formats for simulation.
  • Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.
  • Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer and Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
  • Specific skills required: Hardware verification, computer architecture, logic and circuit design, RTL design or coding, Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL, Unix or Linux environments, and C, C++, or Python.
