Job Title: Sr. Silicon Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Silicon Design Engineer to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD). As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and develop ASIC development, including architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
  • Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.
  • Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop ASIC/layout design, addressing complex issues that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Drive projects or processes of significant technical importance, exercising independent judgment to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL, Python, C, or C++, design flows and methodologies used for chip verification, Unix or Linux environments, ASIC design tools, RTL verification, RTL simulations, coherence protocols, or interconnect and memory system design, and CPU architecture, GPU architecture, or SOC architecture.
