We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Silicon Design Engineer to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD). As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and design electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing
- Develop and maintain tests for DFX (Design-For-Test and Design-For-Debug) verification at SoC level
- Build testbench components to support the next generation IP
- Maintain or improve current test libraries to support IP level testing
- Create hardware emulation build to verify the IP functional performance
- Maintain and improve current hardware emulation environment to speed up the runtime performance and improve the debug facility
- Provide technical support to other teams
- Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
- One (1) year of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role
- Experience with developing and maintaining tests for DFX verification at SoC level
- Experience with building testbench components
- Experience with C, C++, or Python
- Experience with Verilog, System Verilog, or UVM
- Experience with Design-for-Test and Design-for-Debug architecture
- Experience with creating hardware emulation to verify IP functional performance
- Experience with SoC Architecture, GPU Architecture, or CPU Architecture
- Experience with Unix or Linux Environments
- Experience with gate level debug
