We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Silicon Design Engineer to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD). As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and design electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing
  • Develop and maintain tests for DFX (Design-For-Test and Design-For-Debug) verification at SoC level
  • Build testbench components to support the next generation IP
  • Maintain or improve current test libraries to support IP level testing
  • Create hardware emulation build to verify the IP functional performance
  • Maintain and improve current hardware emulation environment to speed up the runtime performance and improve the debug facility
  • Provide technical support to other teams
  • Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
  • One (1) year of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role
  • Experience with developing and maintaining tests for DFX verification at SoC level
  • Experience with building testbench components
  • Experience with C, C++, or Python
  • Experience with Verilog, System Verilog, or UVM
  • Experience with Design-for-Test and Design-for-Debug architecture
  • Experience with creating hardware emulation to verify IP functional performance
  • Experience with SoC Architecture, GPU Architecture, or CPU Architecture
  • Experience with Unix or Linux Environments
  • Experience with gate level debug
