About the Role

RER Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Clean Energy Cost Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED), you will play a critical role in delivering clean energy demonstration projects at scale in partnership with the private sector.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data to assess the time, money, materials, and labor required to make a product or provide a service.
  • Identify factors affecting costs, such as production time, materials, and labor.
  • Read blueprints and technical documents to prepare estimates.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors.
  • Calculate, analyze, and adjust estimates.
  • Recommend ways to cut costs.
  • Work with sales teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients.
  • Maintain records of estimated and actual costs.
Requirements
  • Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client-issued Public Trust.
  • 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in Clean Energy desired.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, and an understanding of fundamental business writing.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
