Job Opportunity

RER Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Small Modular Reactor Cost Estimator to support the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) in delivering clean energy demonstration projects at scale.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cost estimating, with a strong understanding of small modular reactors (SMRs) and clean energy technologies. They will conduct independent cost reviews, analyze cost and schedule assumptions, and provide expert advice to ensure the validity of cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent cost reviews for advanced reactor demonstration projects
  • Lead the ICR team in conducting reasonableness reviews, analyzing documentation, and meeting with staff responsible for developing program estimates

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required to obtain client-issued Public Trust
  • Minimum 5 years of cost estimating experience
  • Experience or knowledge of small modular reactors (SMRs) and clean energy technologies desired
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Education: Bachelor's Degree
