Job Title: Restoration Construction Manager

Baker Roofing Company is seeking an experienced Restoration Construction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our restoration division, you will be responsible for managing high-profile restoration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage restoration projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and completion.
  • Oversee a team of construction managers and crew members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
  • Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure projects are progressing as planned and address any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
  • 5-6 years of experience in restoration construction management.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Able to travel 50-80% of the time.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and other technical documents.
  • Knowledge of building envelope maintenance and concrete repair.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairways, and scaffolds.
  • Requires considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body to climb, lift, balance, walk, and handle materials.
  • Requires seeing details at close range.
  • Requires repetitive movement, bending or twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping or crawling on roofs.
  • Requires physical ability to stand and walk, lift and move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
  • Requires working in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions, in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures, includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.
  • Includes exposure to fumes, contaminants, hazardous material or equipment.
  • Mistakes are not easily correctable and have serious consequences, therefore Safety procedures need to be followed.
  • Requires exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings.
  • Requires exposure to high places or dangerous conditions.
  • Nights, weekend, and out of town work as assigned.
