POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is essential in facilitating various tasks that bolster the sales functions within the retail environment. Responsibilities include handling point-of-sale transactions, managing merchandise, processing stock, and maintaining an organized stockroom.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Efficiency:

Responsible for processing merchandise to ensure items are stored, labeled, and easily accessible for replenishment on the sales floor. Regularly reorganizes stock to optimize space and ensures new products are displayed appropriately and promptly.

Accurately inputs receiving documents into the inventory system and reconciles invoices with received items as necessary. Completes transfers between stores and processes locate requests in a timely manner.

Handles visual merchandising materials, ensuring props and signage are processed and stored correctly. Participates in pricing adjustments and markdowns as required. Communicates supply needs to management and assists with visual directives, including floor setups and window displays.

Maintains cleanliness and organization within the boutique.


Customer Engagement:

Exemplifies and promotes the principles of exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience. Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout process while staying informed on policies regarding payments, returns, and security practices.

Encourages purchasing decisions at the register and meets add-on sales goals, including gift card promotions. Engages clients in loyalty programs.


Collaboration and Development:

Fosters a collaborative environment, encouraging teamwork in problem-solving. Actively seeks opportunities for personal growth and welcomes constructive feedback.

Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed, with variations possible across different brands.


REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in stock management or cashier roles is preferred. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. Ability to adapt to technology used by the company and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting is necessary.

Physical demands include standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Regular walking and standing are required throughout the shift. Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs may be necessary.
