We are seeking an Audiologist Specialist to join our team at Richland One. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing professional services to screen, identify, evaluate and facilitate instruction for students with hearing disorders.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a Master's degree in audiology and completion of one year of a clinical fellowship under the supervision of a licensed audiologist, plus six to nine years of experience working with the hearing impaired. They must also possess certification to meet State and Southern Association standards; must be a licensed audiologist.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluates hearing abilities to establish auditory skill development.
- Writes evaluation reports and interprets audiological information for educational implications.
- Recommends appropriate instructional modifications and accommodations.
- Determines hearing function in various communication and learning settings.
- Master's degree in audiology and completion of one year of a clinical fellowship under the supervision of a licensed audiologist.
- Six to nine years of experience working with the hearing impaired.
- Certification to meet State and Southern Association standards.
The Audiologist Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. They will also be required to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $43,100 - $56,900 per year, depending on experience. They will also be eligible for benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
