Position Summary
The Gaming Pit Operations Manager is accountable for ensuring the seamless functioning of designated table games within the casino environment, under the guidance of the Director of Table Games.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees and modifies table game limits based on gaming activity.
- Addresses guest inquiries and requests, including information, markers, and complimentary services.
- Ensures the precision of all financial transactions.
- Adheres to Compliance and Regulatory standards, including Federal CTR & SARC regulations.
- Manages scheduling for Dealers across specific table games.
- Maintains high standards of performance and productivity among subordinates.
- Enhances guest satisfaction and enjoyment.
- Delivers exceptional Customer Service to maximize guest enjoyment and encourage repeat visits.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of all policies and procedures relevant to the table games being supervised.
- Fosters a safe, professional, and friendly work environment that promotes high productivity and morale.
- Actively supports the organizational culture and team philosophy throughout the establishment.
- Serves as a role model for all staff, representing the brand positively and inspiring others to do the same.
- Encourages positive public relations and cultivates an enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons.
- Effectively resolves guest-related issues in a dynamic environment.
- Safeguards guest rewards and credit lines.
- Complies with all departmental and corporate policies, including business ethics guidelines.
- Adheres to all regulatory requirements.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding all proprietary information and trade secrets.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A minimum of five years of experience in table games is required, with two years in a management capacity preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of all primary casino games and familiarity with most secondary games is essential.
