The Leasing Consultant plays a crucial role in supporting the leasing operations and financial success of a designated apartment community for MAA. Key responsibilities encompass engaging with potential residents, articulating the benefits and overall experience of residing in a MAA community, and finalizing lease agreements. This role initiates the screening process for prospective residents, communicates lease expirations, and facilitates lease renewals. Additionally, the Leasing Consultant assists with marketing initiatives and resident engagement events.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or leasing
  • Familiarity with apartment management laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
