Job Overview

LICENSED PSYCHIATRIST in California is sought for a part-time or full-time role within a thriving psychiatric practice. Opportunities for partnership or ownership are available. The practice boasts a sophisticated, attractive office environment supported by a dedicated team of 12 staff members and 7 other satisfied clinicians in Coastal South Orange County, CA. We welcome both seasoned professionals and recent graduates as 1099 contractors, with the flexibility to tailor contracts that include retention and performance bonuses, alongside a competitive compensation structure.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in medical record keeping and typing.
  • Must possess a MEDICAL DOCTORATE degree, licensed in California as a physician and surgeon (MD or DO).
  • Note: Candidates with only a Master's level degree or license should NOT apply at this time.
  • No current malpractice claims or board actions pending; must be insurable as a physician.

  • Flexible full or part-time work schedule; credentialing and contracting can commence immediately.
  • Practice is clinician-owned and managed, not corporate-run.
  • Documentation can be completed at home or in the office using EMR; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Mentorship opportunities are available for early-career psychiatrists.
  • You will have the autonomy to set your own patient load and working hours as a contracted psychiatrist.
  • Compensation increases with productivity; there is no cap on earnings, with top-tier pay rates.
  • Opportunities for research, teaching, and academic appointments are available.
  • We foster a supportive environment for our psychologist providers, offering biweekly peer review and case conferences.
