Key Responsibilities
  • Interprets work orders and blueprints to plan machining tasks, ensuring adherence to geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
  • Loads raw materials into the feed mechanism for processing.
  • Operates cranes for the efficient loading and unloading of materials.
  • Removes finished components from machinery using hand tools and organizes them into containers.
  • Conducts quality inspections of completed products, comparing them against templates and measuring their dimensions.
  • Completes necessary inspection documentation as required.
  • Utilizes solvents for cleaning surfaces post-machining.
  • Replaces grinding wheels as necessary to uphold product quality.
  • Performs minor maintenance on grinding equipment and assists with larger repairs as needed.
  • Adheres to safety protocols and maintains high-quality production standards.
  • Ensures consistent product quality through established production techniques, understanding the impact of process variables.
  • Suggests enhancements to safety and cleanliness procedures.
  • Keeps the work environment clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2-4 years of relevant manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills (decimals, percentages) are essential for job functions.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools (micrometers, dial calipers, and indicators) and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Capability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • This position is restricted to U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents due to business needs and compliance requirements.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The role requires standing for extended periods and the ability to lift or move over 50 pounds. The work environment is a factory setting with variable temperatures.
