Resident Training Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Training Coordinator to join our team at the State of Kansas. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading and supervising mental health direct care technicians, providing direct supports to individuals with disabilities, and promoting positive staff relations and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise mental health direct care technicians in providing direct services to individuals residing at our facility.
- Provide and manage the delivery of direct supports responsive to the choices, personal goals, preferences, and needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Promote positive staff relations and teamwork through effective leadership, communication, and staff development.
- Supervise staff, demonstrate skills, and provide effective feedback.
- Collect and analyze data to inform service delivery and program development.
- Develop, implement, and monitor services, training objectives, and programs to support personal outcomes.
- One year of experience in direct care.
- Education in human services, education, or healthcare.
- Valid Kansas driver's license.
- Ability to pass a law enforcement security clearance and a drug screening test.
