Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Coordinator to join our team at Parsons State Hospital and Training Center. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of person-centered services to individuals with mental retardation or other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a diverse group of staff across three shifts to ensure the protection of resident rights in a humane and home-like environment.
  • Coordinate and prioritize the delivery of training and person-centered services, integrating various aspects of services to meet individual requests, preferences, and needs.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure the varied responsibilities of this position are met.
  • Review and evaluate tasks against ICF/MR standards, agency policies, and procedures, as well as consumer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in planning, organizing, and directing the work of a department, program, or agency.
  • Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
  • ICF/MR regulations mandate that persons in this position must possess a R.N. or a bachelor's degree in a human service field and at least one year of experience working directly with individuals with mental retardation or other developmental disabilities.
