Position Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled System Calibration Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to significant projects in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage engine testing across multiple test cells, executing approximately 20 standardized tests for various engine types.
  • Oversee engine calibration processes, coordinating both manual and automated testing tasks.
  • Collaborate with technicians and engineers to ensure proper engine setup and functionality during testing.
  • Utilize a range of instrumentation to guarantee accurate test conditions.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including test automation engineers and vehicle calibration specialists, to resolve any issues encountered during testing.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) while on-site.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and calibration methodologies.
  • Explore opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in engine controls and calibration.
  • Experience working in laboratory environments, with a focus on safety and instrumentation.
  • Proficient in data analysis and post-processing techniques.
  • Familiarity with AVL PUMA, IndiCom, CAMEO, and ETAS INCA software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Knowledge of engine testing, calibration, and hardware development is preferred.
