Job Title: System Calibration Engineer

Bartech Staffing is a leading engineering, technical, and professional staffing firm, partnering with top companies to provide exceptional talent. Our client, a renowned industry leader, is seeking a skilled System Calibration Engineer to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engine testing and calibration in various test cells, ensuring accurate results and efficient processes.
  • Manage engine calibration, coordinating manual tasks and test automation, and overseeing the pallet build process.
  • Collaborate with technicians, test automation engineers, and lab engineers to ensure seamless engine setup and testing.
  • Familiarize yourself with various instrumentation and ensure engine setup is correct for each test.
  • Work closely with vehicle calibration engineers, propulsion engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Perform laboratory testing and adhere to PPE requirements and facility access protocols.
  • Develop and implement new technologies, driving innovation and growth within the organization.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, enhancing your skills and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • At least 2 years of experience in engine controls and calibration.
  • Familiarity with working in a lab environment, including safety protocols, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with data post-processing, including data review, identification of good vs. bad data, and effective presentation.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive engineering with engine knowledge.
  • Proficiency in AVL PUMA/IndiCom/CAMEO and ETAS INCA software.
  • Demonstrated drive for results, excellent planning and problem-solving skills, and high-level oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and establish effective relationships with colleagues.
