Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Environmental Planner to perform complex environmental planning and permitting activities in support of District capital improvement projects, operations and maintenance systems, and facilities. This advanced journey-level role involves overseeing and managing diverse tasks, using independent judgment and discretion to establish objectives, timelines, and methods to complete assignments.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate environmental review and permitting needs for large and complex capital engineering projects.
  • Implement permits to support CCWD's large-scale operations and maintenance needs.
  • Serve as the main contact and liaison between CCWD and resource and environmental permitting agencies.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal clients in O&M, Engineering, Real Property, and Water Resources divisions/departments.

Working Conditions
