About the Job

This position is responsible for coordinating the planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of health, safety, and environmental programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees. The ideal candidate will be a self-starting administrator and field-ready professional who enjoys the challenges of daily involvement with members of various teams such as project management, field operations, and senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining training & certification files for various databases
  • Safe Work Observations (SWO)
  • Conducting periodic safety meetings in the field & quarterly Health and Safety Meetings
  • Reviewing initial incident reports from the field

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years equivalent industry experience
  • Familiarity with Behavior based safety programs
  • Health and Safety Plans
  • MS Office savvy
  • Ability to lead by example and work in a collaborative team environment
