Site Reliability Developer 4

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Developer 4 to join our team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). As a key member of our Cloud Platform organization, you will be responsible for designing and delivering mission-critical infrastructure services that are highly available, scalable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to ensure the end-to-end performance and operability of our production services.
- Partner with development teams to define and implement improvements in service architecture, focusing on security, resiliency, scale, and performance.
- Articulate technical characteristics of services and technology areas, guiding development teams to engineer and add premier capabilities to the Oracle Cloud service portfolio.
- Utilize a deep understanding of service topology and dependencies to troubleshoot issues and define mitigations.
Requirements:
- Active Top Secret Clearance required and ability to obtain polygraph.
- 5+ years production engineering experience, preferably in distributed services or cloud platform experience.
- Proven experience with automation and strong experience in a scripting language (bash, perl, python, etc).
- Solid understanding of Software Engineering and Computer Science principles.
- Solid foundation in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of Networking, Security, and Storage.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to understand and formulate meaningful KPIs and business metrics.
