Job Description

Intelligent Waves is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Reston, VA. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operational tasks
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience with management, security, and automation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems
  • Experience with security and compliance frameworks (i.e., DoD STIGs, NIST)
  • Proficient with automation tools like Ansible and Red Hat Satellite
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, TS/SCI
  • DoD 8570/8140 for IAT2 Level Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Kubernetes orchestrations, scaling, and troubleshooting
  • Experience building, maintaining, and securing CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps principles
  • Familiarity with managing and configuring Kubernetes environments
