About the Position

The National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our fundraising efforts and developing strategic partnerships to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to identify new funding sources and maintain a strong pipeline of foundation, corporate, and individual donors.
  • Collaborate with the President & CEO and other leadership staff to prepare grant proposals, reports, and budgets that align with our programmatic and operational needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including program officers, corporate partners, and individual donors.
  • Manage and track grants and other revenue streams against Board-approved budgets.
  • Communicate effectively with donors, staff, and other stakeholders about our strategies, tactics, and goals.
Requirements
  • A minimum of five years of experience in development, fundraising, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in securing funding from foundations, corporations, and individuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Experience with fundraising software and tools, including donor management systems.
