Job Summary:

CMG Financial is seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Production Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our mortgage operations team, you will provide critical support to our Loan Officers by ensuring timely closing of loan files. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will enable you to effectively collaborate with operations staff and customers to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Close contact with customers to request information and provide customer service and support.
  • Request disclosures and open escrow, collect fees, and order preliminary title reports.
  • Order appraisals, collect and review client documentation, and review income analysis from the Loan Officer.
  • Submit loan documentation to processing, including the Submission form, Intent to proceed, LDP/GSA, and Net Tangible.
  • Gather Loan Agent PTD and PTF conditions and submit requests for Rapid Rescores.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry.
  • Familiarity with mortgage terminology.
  • Experience with Point software preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Direct Reports: N/A

Physical and Environmental Conditions:
  • This role operates in an ADA-compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks, including computer work.
  • The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day.
  • Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.

Base Compensation Information:
  • CMG Financial pays a competitive base salary ranging from $21.50 per hour to $26.00 per hour, plus bonus per loan.
  • Factors affecting base salary may include Loan Officer Assistant, processing experience, overall knowledge of mortgage, number of years worked in the mortgage industry, computer skills, customer service experience specific to working with mortgage lenders, and other relevant qualifications.
