Automotive Parts Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Automotive Parts Specialist to join our NAPA team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sourcing parts for our fleet customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of automotive parts to assist other NAPA team members and answer questions for customers
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians
  • Bring a customer-centric approach and high energy to our fast-paced environment
  • Ask relevant questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced
  • Inform customers on parts availability

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn all things auto parts
  • High School Diploma or GED, with technical or trade school courses or degree a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great listening skills and empathy for customers
  • Ability to work in a shop environment, potentially on or around an airport

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background and/or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
  • Experience in airport ground support equipment
  • Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, and/or inventory management systems
  • ASE Certifications
