As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our mission to improve the lives of others through exceptional customer service. This part-time weekend position involves a variety of office tasks, including answering phone calls, welcoming visitors, and performing additional administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to our residents and guests.
- Create a positive first impression in person and over the phone for residents, prospective residents, families, vendors, and job candidates.
- Address and resolve any resident inquiries that arise during your shift.
- Implement emergency procedures as needed during your shift.
- Utilize the American House sales system effectively.
- Organize and oversee activities for residents.
- Inform the Executive Director of any emergency situations.
- Identify and report maintenance needs to the Executive Director.
- Input work orders into the work order management system.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for serving others.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Successful completion of a background check and TB test.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with senior populations.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service.
- 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or receptionist role.
