Job Overview:
Sansom Consulting is collaborating with a reputable Powersports dealership seeking a skilled Service Technician to join their team.


Position Summary:


As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing critical repairs on motorcycles, ATVs, and SxS vehicles, both owned by customers and the dealership.

Your role will also involve conducting test rides and maintaining detailed records for all repair orders.


Compensation Package:
Competitive hourly wage ranging from $25 to $30+, based on your experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing necessary repairs on customer motorcycles
  • Providing recommendations to Service Writers regarding repairs

  • Test riding motorcycles to ensure quality repairs
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Relocating motorcycles within the shop as required
  • Participating in motorcycle-related events and activities

Qualifications:
  • Must possess personal tools
  • 3-5 years of experience in a dealership setting working on motorcycles, ATVs, and SxS
  • Valid motorcycle endorsement (subject to motor vehicle records check)
  • Technician Certification from an accredited institution (e.g., MMI, UTI, WyoTech)
  • A passion for working on motorcycles or ATVs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of personal and professional integrity
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
