Pest Control Service Technician Job Description

Overview:

EcoShield Pest Solutions is a leading pest control company seeking a skilled Pest Control Service Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of pest control services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely store, mix, apply, or spray pesticide chemicals or other manual solutions to building interiors and exteriors, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Conduct inspections to identify infestations or conditions conducive to infestations of insects or other vertebrate pests and deliver tailored solutions for customers.
  • Interact with customers, face-to-face, to explain service features and benefits.
  • Follow scheduled routes, communicate with office staff and managers, and maintain accurate and organized service records.
  • Regularly operate and maintain a company vehicle while keeping the vehicle and other equipment in clean and working order, while adhering to the Company Vehicle Policy.
  • Manage inventory, equipment, and chemicals and report to the branch for restocks.
  • Utilize technology to manage appointments and maintain customer service records.
  • Have a commitment to safety in all job areas, including driving, service, and training; this includes participation in on-site meetings and training.
  • Adhere to policies and regulations of governing entities where compliance is required.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older (insurance carrier may make some age-based exceptions) and possess an active driver's license with an MVR that meets insurance requirements.
  • Have a commitment to safety in all job areas: driving, service, and training.
  • Have a commitment to honest and exceptional customer service.
  • Are willing to work Monday - Saturday and some holidays.
  • Earn and maintain the state required training and licensing (training will be provided).
