Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ford Certified Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for examining and diagnosing vehicles, discussing repairs with our shop foreman or service advisor, and communicating additional service requests to our service advisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine and diagnose vehicles to identify areas of repair
  • Discuss repairs with our shop foreman or service advisor to determine the best course of action
  • Communicate additional service requests to our service advisor to ensure seamless communication
  • Plan work procedures in cooperation with our shop foreman to ensure efficient and effective repairs
  • Provide labor time estimates to our service advisor to ensure accurate billing
  • Monitor repair time and update our service advisor regularly to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation to ensure the highest level of quality
  • Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs to ensure accurate records
  • Assist in mentoring technician trainees to ensure the development of our team members
  • Attend company and factory training to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma)
  • Manufacturer certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license
