We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Investor Relations Associate to enhance our multifamily investment firm, LURIN. The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering and sustaining positive connections with our investors, ensuring clear and timely communication about investment performance and prospects, and contributing to the overall advancement and success of our real estate investment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with investors, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors. Serve as a trusted advisor, addressing inquiries, providing insights, and facilitating discussions on current and future investment opportunities.
  • Communication Strategy: Act as the primary liaison for investors, delivering timely and precise information regarding investment strategies, performance updates, and market trends. Develop and execute communication strategies to enhance investor engagement and satisfaction.
  • Portal Oversight: Manage the investor portal, ensuring it is current with relevant information, documents, and reports. Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and asset management, to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of data available on the portal.
  • K-1 Management: Oversee the distribution of K-1 tax documents to investors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines. Work closely with tax advisors and accounting teams to ensure accurate preparation and timely delivery of K-1s.
  • Meeting Coordination: Assist in organizing investor meetings, conference calls, and presentations, including annual meetings, webinars, quarterly updates, and special events. Prepare presentation materials, agendas, and talking points to effectively convey investment performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Collect feedback from investors to evaluate satisfaction levels, identify areas for improvement, and address concerns. Prepare regular reports and analyses on investor relations activities, investment performance, and investor sentiment for senior management.
  • Direct Investor Interaction: Engage proactively with investors through personalized communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings. Address investor inquiries and provide updates on investment activities.
  • Educational Resources: Develop materials and resources to assist investors in understanding investment strategies, financial performance metrics, and tax implications through various mediums including webinars, presentations, and general reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field required; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in investor relations, financial services, or a related field, with a focus on real estate or private equity investments preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with investors and build trust-based relationships.
  • Strong understanding of investment principles, financial markets, and regulatory requirements governing investor relations and tax reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and presentation software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems).
