About the Team and Role:

eBay is looking for a paralegal to become a vital part of our Ethics and Employment team. In this position, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities that support eBay's Ethics and Employment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, monitor, and coordinate responses to information inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in our global investigations program, which includes reviewing reports submitted to eBay's Integrity Helpline, analyzing data, formulating investigation strategies, and collaborating with partners in Legal, Human Resources, and Security.
  • Contribute to the development, execution, and upkeep of policies and procedures related to ethics and employment.
  • Support data analysis and reporting for the Ethics and Employment functions.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to assist with other compliance projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, legal studies, or a related discipline.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and engage with various stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Robust process and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to prioritize tasks and proactively identify issues and risks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and GSuite applications.
  • Experience in a global organization, working across different time zones and cultures.
  • Prior experience in ethics and compliance or employment law is advantageous.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position in California, Washington, or New York is anticipated to be between $73,600 and $114,400. The base salary offered may vary based on individual factors such as location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional elements such as a target bonus and restricted stock units, along with a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
