Job Summary

The Optical Assistant will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences at EssilorLuxottica. This individual will be responsible for fostering customer retention, promoting outstanding associate/doctor satisfaction, and demonstrating all aspects of the Neighborhood Eye Care Experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and provide exceptional service
• Determine the reason for the customer's visit and escort them to the appropriate location in store
• Review prescriptions and identify special needs under guidance
• Consistently demonstrate adherence to NECE
• Perform work accurately and thoroughly

Key Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work accurately and thoroughly
• Knowledge of current optical theory and practices
• Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Registered in State licensure program (where applicable) or equivalent schooling
• Previous optical and retail experience
• Knowledge of State/Prov Licensing and Guidelines
• Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior sales training
