Key Responsibilities- Machine Operation: Place a steel plate into lifting clamps and utilize lifting chains and an overhead crane to position the plate into a roll machine.
- Quality Control: Continuously monitor the quality and flatness/shape of the product throughout the process.
- Machine Programming: Utilize a control panel to operate the machine and program it to meet specific job requirements.
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma.
- Experience: Preferably 1 year of experience in a steel service center.
- Skills: Ability to perform basic math functions, inspect products, and program and operate the roll machine.
- Competitive Pay: $18.00 / hourly.
- Benefits Package: Benefits available after the probationary period, including UPMC Medical 70% paid, dental and vision available, 401K after 1 year with 100% match up to 3%; 50% match up to 5%, eight paid holidays plus a holiday bonus, and life and disability insurance.
