Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • General Ledger Management: Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and resolve discrepancies promptly, ensuring the integrity of our general ledger.
  • Accounting Operations: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary entries and schedules, and assist in the implementation of new accounting procedures.
  • Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and work with external auditors during audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the implementation of new accounting procedures, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Certifications: CPA is a plus, but not required.
