Medical Assistant Float Job Description

At Concentra, we are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant Float to join our patient care team. As a Medical Assistant Float, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and supporting our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine medical and testing procedures under direct supervision of the treating clinician.
  • Support registration and referral management as needed.
  • Deliver one-on-one patient care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure every patient receives quality clinical care and an excellent patient experience.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with completion of an externship (highly preferred).
  • At least one year of direct patient care experience as a medical assistant or military medical specialist experience (must meet credentials in the state of employment in accordance with state requirements and applicable regulations).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific).
