Job SummaryAs a Float Pool Nurse in our Medical-Surgical department, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient care to adolescent, young adult, adult, and geriatric patients in a variety of settings, including medical, surgical, telemetry, and inpatient rehabilitation units.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduation from a school of nursing required.
- Current Missouri RN license required.
- BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of current RN hospital Medical/Surgical experience or Medical/Telemetry experience is required for the Float Pool.
