Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative II plays a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for patient-families at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. This position is responsible for performing clerical tasks, including answering incoming calls, registration, and patient check-in/out procedures, as well as collecting patient co-pay or deductibles, scheduling and verifying patient appointments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides exceptional customer service to patient-families, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Completes financial clearance and authorization duties, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient payments.
  • Serves as administrative support for assigned providers, assisting with follow-up care and divisional performance reports.
  • Works closely with providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a medical front office setting, with 3+ years in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to deal effectively with the public.
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Education and Certifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Children's Hospital Los Angeles offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $38,272.00-$65,062.00, as well as a robust benefits program to meet your needs.
